Johnnie D. - Drums & Percussion
Johnnie found out early on that he had two addictions: playing drums and an insatiable appetite for more gear. At one point he had amassed and performed on a 33 piece drum kit. From age 13, Johnnie was in various bands, such as Eastwind, Constant Velocity, Mission, and since 1986, Silver X-Treme. He has performed with such artists as Mark Farner of Grand Funk and Billy Powell of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Johnnie has long retired the thoughts of being a "Rock Star" and feels very fortunate to be able to go out every weekend and ACT like a Rock and Roll Idiot.

At age 7, Johnnie realized he could act out all his aggressions legally on the drum set. His parents were more than happy to support him in beating anything besides his 4 siblings. He studied the drums in school and took private lessons for a while.
