1/16/08 - The Buffalo Music Awards were a blast, thanks for all of your votes. It was suspenseful and the bands made the night so cool. It is always neat to see all of the musicians in one spot! Congratulations to all of the winners! Buffalo Rocks. Silver X-Treme would like to express their gratitude for all your support in 2007. Lets continue to make 2008 a fun and successful new year. The live music scene in Buffalo is struggling to survive. Many clubs have either closed or have done away with live music. There is something we all can do to make sure it does not go away altogether; Support Your Local Live Music Bar on a regular basis. Happy New Year from Patsy, Joey, Johnnie, Tommy, Tony, Victor , Corky and Dottie.

1/15/08 -Recckio's is our next gig. I can't even remember when it was so packed at a club that I could not see the back of the room! Recckio's ROCKS and BOWLS! Every one in South Buffalo will be there, it's the hottest spot in town! It is the first chance to see Silver X-Treme in 2008. Come out and party with the band. Bring some friends 'cause we're gonna party 'till the wee hours of the morning. In-case you're looking for a great New Years resolution--here's one......COME OUT TO SEE SILVER X-TREME IN 2008 ON A WEEKLY BASIS!!!!!!!

11/1/06 - Halloween was a real scream at Captain Kidds this past Saturday. Even though the weather did not cooperate and I lost my transmission in the equipment truck on the way to the gig, it was a great night. Congratulations goes to the costume winners and don't forget to check out the costume photos in the gallery(Captain Kidds/10-28-06). This week is the Bears Den on Abbott Rd. in Lackawanna. With the near extinction of live music venues in WNY, come out and support this great party bar to ensure their survival. See you there.

10/27/06 - Silver X-Treme has once again been nominated for The Buffalo Music Awards 2006. The catergories of nomination are: Female Rock Vocalist/Patsy Silver...Rock Bassist/Joe Cristofanelli...Rock Drummer/Johnny D...and Best Rock Band/Silver X-Treme. This year, everyone can vote for their favorites. Go to www.bestofwny.com and register to vote. An e-mail will be sent back to you upon registering that includes a link to your ballot. Voting only takes a few minutes and is limited to one vote per e-mail address. Thanks goes out to all the fans who have made Silver X-Treme a success this past year. October 28th is Captain Kidds Halloween Party featuring Silver X-Treme on stage all night long. A costume contest is being held with prizes given out for 1st place($100), Second place($50 bar tab) and third place($25 bar tab). So put on your best costume and drive out to the lake for some X-tremely good Halloween fun!

10/11/06 - Well, It's Wednesday and my head just stopped spinning. We had a great time on Saturday at the Bears Den and I want to thank eveyone for joining me in celebrating my birthday. This week we have a family wedding to go to but we will be learning a couple new tunes for the next gig. Speaking of next gig it is at Captain Kids ,in Angola on the lake, for Haloween. October 28th is going to be a costume party to remember. It's a big comfortable bar with lots of character so "don" your best costume and head to the lake 'cause Captain Kids is the place to be.

10/6/06 - OK.. To be fair I have to do this to myself. Every time a member of the band has had a birthday, I let you all know about it so you can come out and inflict pain on the victim. This time it's my turn. This week at The Bears Den on Abbott Rd. in Lackawanna, we'll be celebrating the drummers(my) 40th Birthday OUCH I FEEL OLD!!!!!!!!No you can't spank me or give me a pinch to grow an inch but we will be partying. This club is a great party bar that will remind you of your favorite college bar from way back when. Leave your books at home and bring a friend cause we're gonna have some fun.

9/21/06 - WOW! Griffins was one hopping gig. The band had such a blast that we need a week or two off. Thanks goes out to all the X-temeists that came out and filled the club from wall to wall. Thanks to Jason and Jen, Mario, Tom Tiberi from 97 Rock, the Jaroszs, Frankie, Bob Avino and Eziekiel and most of all Danny Griffin himself(the owner). What a great little Irish bar that won't hold it against you if you're not Irish.(as long as you're drinking) We're going to learn some more tunes the next couple weeks and try to get our rest after such a busy summer season. Next we're at the Bears Den on Abbott Rd. in Lackawanna on October 7th. Come on out it'll be a hell of a party. I hear a band member will be getting slightly older that weekend and it's sure to be lots of fun. You're gonna love this bar. See you there

9/15/06 - Thanks to everyone who came out to the Dock at the Bay last Saturday to close out our summer season of outdoor gigs. Yes it was cold and rainy but that didn't stop the die-hards from coming out. There were actually Xtremeists there with blankets to keep warm. This week we're at Griffins Pub on Abbott near southside. This is a great little South Buffalo Irish bar. Come on out and have a beer or two with us.

9/5/06 - Well! It was a soggy weekend at Six Flags but that didn't stop the campers from coming out of their trailers and tents to party with the band. The campgrounds were sold out and since it rained all weekend long, renters there had severe cabin fever. Thanks goes out to Pete Nicholoff who came out and sat in on the drums for a number. Great job Pete. This week we're at The Dock at the Bay and it looks like the weatherman has it in for us again. Whatever you do DON'T LISTEN TO THE LOCAL WEATHER FORCAST!!!, they'll probably get it wrong again. This is our last outdoor gig for the season so come out and party with the band. Bring a sweater and a date so you can cuddle to keep warm. See you there.

< B>8/29/06 - I say we go down to Channel 7 and physically abuse the weatherman for his forecast of this past weekend! He called for rain on both Saturday night and Sunday which scared some people away from The Dock at the Bay and The Baby Joe Mesi Cycle Run in Marilla. The weather was just fine. However, the healthy crowds that showed had a hell of a time. For Dock at the Bay we decided to set up under the canopy next to the bar and it felt so much more intimate being close to the action. With two stagette parties and a class reunion, these people got wild! "X-TREMEISTS GONE WILD" Marilla was a great gig with lots of money being raised for organ donation. Baby Joe stopped by and we took a couple snap shots with the band. Rambling Rose came out along with all the Red Knights 21 who sponsored this event. Great food, cool vendors, cold beer and smokin' hot Rock & Roll, what a good time. This week we're closing out our season at Six Flags on Sunday and next week we're back at the Dock at the Bay. Come out for the last of the outdoor shows.

8/24/06 - If you weren't there then you missed one hell of a party at Kates! Tony turned 50 right before our eyes and the booze and the Rock & Roll were really flowing freely. Carol and Lou, owners of Kates, are such great hosts that you can't help but feel the friendly party atmosphere they provide. This week is another special treat for all you X-Tremeists! Saturday is Dock at the Bay with a 6:45 start time. So all you "I-need-my-beauty-rest" people have no excuses 'cause you can come out for a couple of sets and still be in bed before you turn into pumpkins. Sunday is the 2nd annual Motorcycle Run with Baby Joe Mesi and his Fight for Organ Donation at the Marilla Fire Hall in Marilla. It's a great cause with lots of vendors, food, booze and of course X-Treme ROCK AND ROLL!! See you there.

8/15/06 - LATEST NEWS FLASH!!! Nobody from Silver X-Treme got arrested at the marathon of gigs at Six Flags this past weekend. What a weekend we had. The band played Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Darien Lake and the staff was nice enough to allow us to stay in an eight sleeper R.V. for the weekend. We sat around the campfire cooking and sipping our "Veeta-Vita-Vegemin" til all hours the next day. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the crowds were enthusiastic. On a down note, the drummer Johnnie D is now legally blind in both eyes for accidentally catching site of Corky in his pink frilly boxers. OUCH!!! MY EYES!!! This week is Kates in Riverside and not only is this a great friendly bar but it's Tony's 50th birthday so come on out for a shot of whiskey and a piece of cake. Tony has expressed his wishes for a couple b-day gifts. First he'd like an understanding georgeous girlfriend who puts out and he'd like a cool million in small un-traceable bills.(no checks please) If those gifts are not feasable, just your presence at the gig will suffice. Lets tie one on and rip one up in Riverside. SEE YOU THERE!!

8/10/06 - The fourth annual Sprocketfest was a blast! Hosts John, John and Janine put on a great party. The cops were never called (Probably 'cause they were invited) and everyone had fun. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and there was plenty of booze. (Sorry bout drinkin all the Jack) This week we're on a marathon at Six Flags. Friday & Saturday night and a Sunday afternoon gig for the UAW local 424 family picnic. The band was provided an RV for the weekend so if you're a camper at Six Flags this weekend we'd like to apologize ahead of time. It's gonna be an insanely good time. The next gig for public consumption will be 8/19 at Kates in Riverside so we'll see you there.

7/24/06 - YES!! The 1st annual Southridge block party is in the books and what a party it was!! Good food, Cold beer and friendly neighbors made this get together a success. The cops were only called three times by the "stick in the mud" residents who don't know what a great time they would have had if they'd come down. Thanks goes to Rick Schunke and family for making us feel so welcome at his house and also to the "Mayor" and the "Crazy Irish Bunch" who's drunken rendition of the Irish folk songs whipped everyone into a frienzy!!! That was also the first time Silver X-Treme had to share the stage with a bag-piper. COOL!! To all the residents of Southridge who came to the party, you are fun and classy people and we feel honored to be part of your 1st annual event. This Friday we're at Mickey Rats on the lake. It's a special Friday show for us so come on out. The summer is winding down so don't miss the opportunity to party at the lake with us. Live music outside starts at 6:30 and Silver X-Treme takes the main indoor stage at 11:00. See you there.

7/2/06 - What a GREAT time at Lazy Acres Campgrounds on Saturday!!! If you ever desire a wonderful place to camp, Lazy Acres in East Otto is it. There is a great family atmosphere and everyone knows each other. It is the most impressive private fireworks display I've seen. Thanks goes out to Gail(and the Crown Royal) and the rest of you guys for making us feel like lifelong resident campers. I still need the recipe for those baked beans. WOW!! I'll do nearly anything to get it.(wink..wink) The 4th of July we're at Ths Dock at the Bay for an hour set starting at 4:30. Come on out and celebrate your independence with the band.

6/11/06 - It w ww wwassss ch.chi.ch.chi.chilly!!!But what a good time we had at the Dock at The Bay. Thanks everyone for coming out and showing your support. We were told we'd probably only get one--maybe two sets to play for fear no-one would be there. Boy! did you guys prove them wrong. Not only did you guys come out, but you stayed and partied til the end. Rose, the manager, was so impressed that our Xtreme-ist fans braved the weather and stayed. Thanks again. We've got some studio work coming up and Tony is being flown to North Carolina to become "MADE" as a Godfather. Starting in July we all have to refer to Tony as the "Don" and kiss his ring every time we see him. Check out the photos of the Dock at the bay for 6/10 and you just might see a pix of my Father and StepMom. See if you can pick them out!

5/31/06 - Man was that a crazy holiday weekend!!!! Saturday at Borrellos, all the die hards came out and had a good time. Sunday was Six Flags and despite having to "tip-toe" around the broadcast of the Sabres loss, A massive crowd hung around for the last set. When we finished the last set at a strict 11:30, The crowd was yelling soooo loud "ONE MORE SONG" that our agent, who was about a mile away from the stage, heard all the comotion and called the cell phone to allow us an encore song. Monday at Mickey Rats was the BOMB! Tons and tons of scantily clad people were there cheering us on and tearing up the dance floor. We got to see our good friend Dave Perrelli perform in Rock Bottom and these guys are good. We want to thank Pauly, Jen, Pat, Dave, Suzan, Katie and the rest of you especially Randy B for coming out. Randy is the guitar player for a band called Hastings who came in second place at the Emergenza Festival. He is also a former member of Silver X-Treme from the early 90s. Our next gig is the 10th of June at the Dock at the Bay for a 6:45 start weather permitting. It's an early gig so there are no excuses for not coming out. See you all there.

5/15/06 - What a great night!!! The Sabres won in overtime and everyone came out to Kates to celebrate. Check out the photos of the gig. I got Lou and Carol on stage with two Les Pauls. Lou was in heaven. When you're in riverside, make sure you stop in at Kates and get a cold one. Next week we're off again so we can rest for the hectic stretch coming up. Memorial weekend we are playing Saturday, Sunday & Monday so get your rest this week 'cause we're gonna ROCK TIL YOU DROP!!!!!

5/13/06 - A new shipment of Silver X-Treme t-shirts just arrived. We have all sizes from small to triple x available. Get them soon 'cause for $10 they go real fast.

4/23/06 - OHHHHH!! My head is still spinning. We had a party and a half at Borrellos on Saturday. So many familiar faces came out, and this time they brought all their friends. The bar ran out of space so they had to take the pool table and push it into the other room. Lisa Borrello,(the owner), actually took a stint behind the bar to serve drinks to help the bartender keep everyones glasses full. You guys in Dunkirk are great and we appriciate your support. This week we're in Springville at Casey's Coachlight. I'm sure if the weather is nice, we'll see a line of Harley's parked out side the bar. Come on out and bring your leather 'cause we're gonna tear it up biker style.

4/15/06 - What a cool bar The Furnace is!!! We had a blast and met alot of new people. You guys were loud and even tore up the dance floor too. Thanks to everyone who came out especially Mom and Dad, Michelle, Cindy, Marc, Mick, Donna, Joyce, Billy M. and his wife, Steve and Trish, Simone and Courtney(The Blonde Bombshells)and anyone that my hangover made me forget. Tonight is Chuggers, lets drink ourselves NUMB!!!!

4/9/06 - I don't know the legal capacity of the Bears Den, but I'm pretty sure we exceeded it on Saturday!! I can't believe how many people we crammed into that room. What an insane party that was. We saw alot of freinds there including KanaYamz, The Tomillos, Frankie, Tom Tiberi from 97 Rock, all the cousins and Tony B. Thanks for all who showed up, you made it a great night. This week is a rare Friday and Saturday weekend for us. Friday is at The Furnace 3700 Southwestern Blvd. It's a new club, fully remodeled like a club you'd find in NYC. Saturday is Chuggers on Union Road W. Seneca. Come on out and get drunk with us before you have to spend Easter Sunday with the In-Laws!!!!!!

4/1/06 - Even with losing an hour on the clocks, Captain Kidds showed why it's a favorite place for most of Western New York to party during the summer! You guys were loud, rowdy and feeling no pain. The bartenders commented on how much booze you guys drank!! Happy birthday to Michelle and it was nice to see Turtle, Josh, Mike N., Marcia, Chris and the rest of you. Don't miss this week at the Bears Den in Lackawanna. It is a great party bar and I hear there is some sort of beer blast going on that night!!! See you there.

3/28/06 - Well folks, Dunkirk proved itself once again as a happening town that LOVES TO PARTY!!! We saw some people from Buffalo and Springville who made the trip. Thanks. My cousin Jim came out and seen us for the first time and actually helped tear down gear and load up the trailer. Thanks Jim you ROCK!!!! This week is Captain Kidds in Angola. We had some people from Dunkirk said they were coming out for the show. There is NO COVER CHARGE at the lake so join us for some good old fashioned drinking.

3/24/06 - Well This past week we had a day of rest and lord knows that after that O'Neil birthday bash , we needed it. Also, during our time off, Tony finally had the time to get his annual bikini waxing done. According to the records of the HAZ-MAT squad, it took five days, 12 lbs. of wax and three dozen hefty bags to complete the job. Happy to report that everyone from the salon who was hospitalized was later released with no lasting scars.(At least not physical ones.) This week is Borrellos in Dunkirk. Come on out, the last gig there ROCKED!!!!!!!!!

3/12/06 - St. Patricks day seemed a week early this year. Metzgers was like an indoor Irish parade with the birthday party of Peggy O'Neil. The entire clan showed up and gave proof that the Irish throw the best parties!!! Just to clarify, yes it was foggy out Sunday ;it wasn't your hangovers. Happy Birthday also to Victor, Corky and Jen. Next week the band is off so the following week 3/25 is Borrellos Little Italy in Dunkirk. For those who wish to make the trek and not drive home, Borrellos has made arrangements with the Clarion hotel down the street for $39.95 a night. More than half off the regular rate. For details e-mail me at silverxtreme@adelphia.net.

3/6/06 - So that's what it feels like to be Royalty!! Kates last week was exceptional. The owners Carol and Lou really know how to treat their customers and their bands. It was like a throw-back to the days when every bar was packed and the owners appreciated it. They create an atmosphere of a family house party gone wild. Thanks goes out to Mike Stowell and his entourage, Big Joe, Cat, Thomas Jr.and friends, and the girl who asked me to shave her "nether-regions"; great to see you guys. This week is Metzgers and we have alot of Birthdays to celebrate. Our sound crew, Victor and Corky, are both going to be officially old on Saturday so come on out and lets tear it up!!!

2/27/06 - MY HEAD IS STILL POUNDING!!! Borrellos' was the place to be on Saturday. The band tore the roof off the place. The Dunkirk Observer did a review of the band last week so the entire city of Dunkirk came out to check us out and we did not let them down. This week we are at another new club for us, KATES 1125 Tonawanda street near Vulcan. I hear this is a great bar with lots of top-notch bands. We met Lou the owner(she)at the Buffalo Music Award Ceremony and she had to have us. Come up to see us and check out this great little bar!!!

2/20/06 - Them thar country folk sure know how to party!! In case you missed us, Casey's Coachlight was the BOMB!! We knew it was going to be a wild and hairy night when the first girl on the dance floor show us her "fun bags". TWICE!!!!! Next week we're in Dunkirk at Borrellos Little Italy. Quite fitting for a whole band of greeze balls like us. I hear this is a great party bar so come down south to check it out.

2/14/06 - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! Thanks everyone for coming out to Scotty's Pit Stop. The place was Jammed. In fact it was soooo full that when our booking agent and his wife showed up, they had to leave 'cause there wasn't any room for them. A big hand goes out to P.J.(the owner)and his partners for re-doing the place so well. The room looks great and is a fun place to party. For the summer, they plan on having the huge patio open with live music outside. CAN'T WAIT!!!! If you missed us there, we'll be back in the room on March 18th for another show. This week is CASEY'S COACHLIGHT on main st. in Springville. Come on out to this village party bar and support the band.

2/8/06 - IT'S A BOY!!!!! Johnnie D's little sister had an 8lb. 8oz. boy named Alexander John today in Rochester. "Uncle Johnnie" is so proud he's been handing out chocolate cigars and little bottles of Jack Daniels.(not too appreiciated by management at his day job!!) We'll post pictures when they are available. Way to go Valentino(the Dad).

2/7/06 - Well, Captain Kidds is in the books and what a night it was. Even though the weatherman tried to discourage driving with his asinine forcast, the place was rockin'. Thanks to Chris, Sue, Jerry, Bob, Mike from "OUT OF FOCUS" and the rest for coming out. On a somber note; While packing up at the end of the night, Tommy smashed his index finger in the truck door. It's broken and required 3 stitches. So come out to SCOTTY'S PIT STOP this Saturday and witness the amazing 9 fingered guitatist on massive pain killers playing all your favorite songs. Instead of a duelling guitarist, he'll be a drooling guitarist. We'll see you there!!!!!

1/31/06 - HOLY CRAP was Root Five hopping this past Saturday. We celebrated Joey's 50th Birthday and it got crazy. The bar manager asked me "Where the hell did all these people come from?" Thanks everyone for making Joe's B-Day a memorable one. Somebody (O.K...it was me) had Joe's cousin pass out some baby photos of Joe. Oddly enough, he hasn't changed much in 50 years!! It was nice seeing John P and Bret W from AAM, all our friends, relatives and co-workers who showed and thanks to Marie for helping with the prank on Joe. Those baby pictures of Joe can be viewed in the photo gallery, under funny photos. This week is at Captain Kidds on the lake. Yes they've remained open all winter for the first time. There is no cover charge so come on out and preview what a party on the lake will be like this summer!!!

1/21/06 - My head is still pounding from the bash at CLUB MIAMI Saturday night. Man what a riot we had. We sure showed them guys how to party Silver X-Treme style thanks to all of you that came out. We must have known 3/4 of the people there and it was packed! Thanks Tom Tiberi, Mario, Michelle and her mom, Mike from the Mug, the group of dancers from the bandits game, Brother Steve, Trish, Danielle and group. Cudos goes out to the sound crew, Victor and Corky, for a stellar job in one of WNY toughest rooms to run sound!!!! This week is JOEYS BIRTHDAY at Root Five. Joe will be the ripe old age of 50. Yes, I said 50!!!! Bring out your party hats and your drinking boots 'cause were tearing it up for Joe. Just incase you want to know, Joeys choice of poison is Jack Daniels straight up in a short glass. During breaks, get your picture taken with Joe, and we'll put it on the web. Don't miss it.

1/7/2006 - Welcome to 2006 everyone! Silver X-Treme will be starting out the new year TONIGHT at the Bear's Den in Lackawanna (2047 Abbott Rd.) See you there!

12/05/05 - Hey Boys and Girls! Our first gig at The End Zone proved to be a great party- despite Old Man Winter's Grip! The Band would like to thank Barmaids Rene' and Christine for keeping the spirits flowing and the crowd happy! Birthday wishes to Patsy and Thanks To All who partied with us- Keith and his wife, Chris and her sister Colleen, Jim P., Bonnie (our fan from Darien Lake Campgrounds),School 27, veterens Gina, Eddie, and Jeep from the Kanayamz gang, Jennifer, Michelle, and Andrea (keep dancin'), and Chris The Mover from Erie, Pa. Everyone-check out the photos!! Silver Xtreme's looking forward to a return visit to The End Zone and seeing everyone again!
***All you biker enthusiasts come out to the Hog Farm Swap Meet this Saturday at The Erie County Fairground's Agri center. We'll be Rockin from 4:30 to 8:30! It'll be a great time!

11/18/05 - The 2005 Buffalo Music Awards ceremony is in the books and Joey won for BEST ROCK BASSIST!!!!! It was a great night. We got to hang out with all of our friends and musical peers that we don't always get to see. Check out the photo page for our AWARD WINNING BASSIST and his shiny new award!!!!!!

11/3/05 - The 2005 Buffalo Music Awards ceremony is being held on Thursday November 17th at Club Paradise(McKinley Park Inn) As you know, Silver X-Treme has been nominated for the fourth year in a row for Best Rock Band. This year we picked up a couple more nominations for Best Female Vocalist(Patsy), Best Rock Bassist(Joey), and Best Rock Drummer(Johnnie D). Come on out and support the band, it may be the year we finally win!

10/30/05 - Woody's Halloween Bash is in the books and for the few people in Western New York who were not there, it was NUTS!!!! I'm sure glad the fire marshall didn't show up 'cause I think the room was over capacity right up 'til the last song. Lots of great costumes and energetic dancers. See the photo page under Woodys / October 29th and see for yourselves. The band wants to thank everybody that came out especially the girls giving the "peep shows" from the dance floor, you all made it a really fun night. The band has a few weeks off to learn some more material and work on our buff physiques. The next gig is Metsgers pub on 11/19, come on out and lets pack the joint.
